Powerpoint:

You can make your own Powerpoint presentation easily from the downloaded materials. The file names make it an easy 1-2-3 process.

First download the files you will need:

Click to download the file captioned "Download all the images in a single file (960 x 720px). 11 MB."

Click to download the file captioned "Download the soundtrack with each frame in an individual file. 17 MB."

When I made my Powerpoint version I didn't use the captions. I made 86 empty pages in a 4:3 screen size ratio. Set up the presentation's dimensions before you start to assemble anything.

After I created the first page and added the fade-in transition effect I copied the page and then pasted it 85 times in the left column where all the slides are displayed. That created the blanks I needed to construct the presentation.

Next I inserted all the MP3 files into each slide sequentially. Then I went back and pasted in each JPG.

I did that by copying and pasting to and from the clipboard so the images covered the full slide. You should be able to do that in your favorite image viewer. Simply display each JPG image in your viewer (example: IrfanView) and press Control-C or the Copy button. Press Control-V or the Paste button to place the image on a slide. If the image does not cover the full slide area you might need to make an adjustment in your viewer.

Alternatively you can trying simply dragging and dropping each image onto each slide though that does not always work as expected with Office applications. My screen resolution is 96dpi so that's the resolution of the JPG images that you will download here.

Next I used the Rehearse Timings feature to set the timing of each slide according to the length of the narration -- about 20 minutes. Be sure to place all the MP3 files in the same folder as the Powerpoint file or it won't work. The whole process should take about an hour to put together. The final Powerpoint file will be about 100 MB in length.

An optional step might be packaging it for a CD-ROM using the Powerpoint Wizard. It would then be suitable for a Holy Day observance.
